Our dinghy tender davits were made to withstand the harshest of weather, regardless of the water being fresh or salty. These removable tender dinghy davits were made to precisely fit and carry your dinghy aft on a swim platform by pulling two pins they can also be removed and stowed. Our pullondavits TM have a tilt positions, which makes it easier to pull your dinghy on board. We have made many great improvements to the product over the last 10 yrs. Our Davits are used to carry your tender aft and partially on your boats swim platform. When using our Davits without mechanical assistance to load your dinghy we recommend keeping the total weight under 250lbs. Customers have also used a harness on the tender with a block and tackle or a removable winch to help raise the tender onto there vessel. If another source is used to pull the dinghy on, and your platform can support more weight the size and weight of your dinghy can be increased. For best results and easiest loading we recommend staying under 350lbs. Drawing attached. They will get the centerline of your tender up to 9.5" off the end of your swim platform depending on the vessel. They will support more weight than the aluminum extensions shown and are recommended when used in salt water. Keep in mind that when using Davits without extensions the center of your dinghy will be approx 1" - 2" from the end of your swim platform. |
